Chinese Paper Cuttings, 1885.

Includes a small Chinese manuscript book of records listing a quantity of goods and dated 1885. Filled with tiny intricate scissor cuttings of birds, flowers, animals, fish, etc. Book and cuttings were mailed to a M. J. Stoner in Manheim, PA. Likely that this was a souvenir sent home from Peking to Lancaster County, PA in 1900-1901 during the 9th Infantry Regiment's role in quelling the Boxer Rebellion and assisting in the China Relief Expedition.

One 2" X 3" manuscript and four panels of scissor cuttings.
